Toyota idles Japan plants on cyberattack scenario

TOKYO: Toyota Motor Corp will suspend work at all of its Japanese factories after a supplier shut down its computer systems over concern about a possible cyberattack.

The world’s top auto producer said it will suspend operations at all 14 plants in its home country, impacting about 5% of output for the month.
