Datasonic bags ministry deal worth RM50mil


Datasonic said the contract was expected to contribute positively towards the group’s future earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending March 31, 2022.

PETALING JAYA: Datasonic Group Bhd has secured a RM50.12mil contract from the Home Ministry for the supply of MyKad, MyTentera, MyPOCA raw cards and consumables to the National Registration Department.

The security-related information and communications technology company told Bursa Malaysia that its wholly-owned subsidiary Datasonic Technologies Sdn Bhd had accepted a letter of award for the one-year contract which commenced from Feb 15.

Datasonic said the contract was expected to contribute positively towards the group’s future earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending March 31, 2022.
