Gading Kencana in RM4.18bil solar farm tie-up


The national news agency quoted Gading Kencana managing director Datuk Muhamad Guntor Mansor Tobeng as saying that the partnership covered activities, transactions, relationships, contracts and works related to developing solar farms with a primary focus on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

KUALA LUMPUR: Gading Kencana Sdn Bhd, one of the largest solar farm operator in Malaysia, is collaborating with Saudi Arabia’s March Global LLC to develop US$1bil (RM4.18bil) solar farms in the Middle East, Africa and Asean.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was inked during the Expo 2020 Dubai, Bernama reported.
