PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s net financing growth continued its upward trend in December, as consumer spending and business investments were bolstered by the country’s economic recovery and removal of movement restrictions.
According to Bank Negara, net financing growth increased to 4.8% in December compared with 4.5% in November, driven by higher growth in both outstanding loans and outstanding corporate bonds.
