PETALING JAYA: Construction services company Tuju Setia Bhd has received a letter of award (LoA) to undertake main contractor works for Sunway d’hill Residences high-rise development in Kota Damansara, Selangor for RM311.7mil.

In a statement, it said its wholly-owned subsidiary Pembinaan Tuju Setia Sdn Bhd has been commissioned by Sunway PKNS Sdn Bhd, a joint venture of Sunway City Sdn Bhd and the Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor.

The LoA entails the construction of two blocks of 38-storey serviced apartments of Sunway d’hill Residences and the construction period will span 40 months, commencing in March 2022.

“Securing this notable win from a prominent player endorses our expertise in providing value added solutions for our clients, including in specialist sustainable elements and innovative methods to meet their unique needs,” said Tuju Setia managing director Wee Eng Kong.

He noted that Sunway d’hill Residences is envisioned to be a sustainable development with energy and water efficiency features and which utilises environmentally-friendly materials.

“We are glad to add the Sunway brand to our list of reputable customer base, and be entrusted as one of the first movers in this brand new undertaking. Despite the difficult year faced by the whole construction sector, Tuju Setia continued to overcome the hurdles and successfully increased our new wins in 2021 to RM944mil.
