SC charges Serba Dinamik CEO

KUALA LUMPUR: The Securities Commission (SC) is charging Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd chief executive officer (CEO) Datuk Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah for furnishing a false statement to Bursa Malaysia.

SC said Abdul Karim committed an offence under section 369(a)(B) of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (Act 671) when it, with intent to deceive, furnished a false statement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd in relation to the affairs of Serba Dinamik, and the false statement is contained in “Serba Dinamik’s quarterly report on the consolidated results for the quarter and year ended Dec 31, 2020”.
