KSK Land to push forward handover of projects

PETALING JAYA: KSK Land, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KSK Group Bhd, will be pushing forward with its plan for the handover of the 8 Conlay YOO8 Tower A by the end of 2022 and Tower B by mid-2023, according to a Bernama report.

The report quoted KSK Group chief executive officer Joanne Kua (pic) as saying that to date, the branded residential tower project by Kempinski has achieved more than 80% and 40% take-up rates for Towers A and B, respectively.

“While the past year was indeed challenging, we observed that there is in fact stronger interest in the local market for branded residences like 8 Conlay YOO8 compared to pre-Covid times, while the international market remains engaged.

“Based on a recent global buyer study, there are now more buyers seeking hotel-integrated residences for their branded services and amenities, high-yield potential and quality property management,” she told reporters after the official topping-out ceremony of 8 Conlay YOO8 Tower A yesterday.

During the ceremony, KSK Land also unveiled the latest features in its 8 Conlay homeowner mobile app, which includes mobile lift access control, smart home control in partnership with Lutron, visitor management, vacant possession and defect management and an in-app chat, voice call or video call function that directly connects to the concierge.

“As a lifestyle and design property company, delivering the best value and quality to our homeowners are of the utmost importance to us, which is in line with our placemaking philosophy of creating liveable spaces.

“To that end, we are happy to share that KSK Land is now the first real estate developer in Malaysia to work with Kone to directly integrate a mobile lift access function into our homeowner mobile app,” she said.

Built by KSK Land’s data and technology arm, KSK City Labs, the mobile app is designed to seamlessly elevate homeowners’ experience at 8 Conlay, encompassing the entire journey from purchase to residency and property management.

More new features will be introduced down the line, including a chat function that connects YOO8 residents directly to Kempinski’s Lady-in-Red for access to the hotel’s hallmark services such as butler on call, private chef service, housekeeping, residential provisioning, tailoring and more.
