Ajiya acquires freehold land


KUALA LUMPUR: Ajiya Bhd has acquired two parcels of freehold industrial land worth RM34.47mil in Seremban from Sime Darby Property (Nilai) Sdn Bhd to centralise its metal rollforming and safety glass manufacturing activities located in Shah Alam and Puchong in one strategic location.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the acquisition of the two parcels, measuring around 291,852 square feet and 397,702.80 square feet, is imperative for Ajiya to further strengthen its foothold in the central region of Peninsular Malaysia.
