Agoda reveals surge in searches


PETALING JAYA: Following the announcement of the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) arrangement between KL International Airport and Changi Airport, Agoda has revealed that there has been a surge in searches on its platform.

The global digital travel platform revealed that search data for travellers from Malaysia to Singapore increased five-fold immediately following the VTL announcement on Nov 8 compared to the average daily search data a week before.

Meanwhile, search data for travelers from Singapore to Malaysia also showed a threefold surge following the VTL announcement.
