EBay projects lacklustre sales

SAN JOSE: EBay Inc gave a lacklustre revenue forecast for the current quarter, suggesting the online marketplace’s growth could slow as more people get vaccinated and return to pre-pandemic habits like travelling and dining out. Shares fell about 2% in extended trading.

Sales will be US$2.42bil to US$2.47bil (RM10.3bil to RM10.5bil) in the period ending in September, the San Jose, California-based company said yesterday in a statement.
