Xodus gets design contract from Petronas


According to a statement on its website, Xodus said the Kasawari CCS project, off the coast of Sarawak, would comprise the capture and processing of carbon dioxide (CO2) from the sour gas field development, which will then be injected in a depleted gas field.

KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) has awarded global energy consultancy Xodus the conceptual engineering design contract for its first complete carbon capture and storage (CCS) project, offshore Sarawak.
