Carlsberg prioritises safety of its workforce

Carlsberg Malaysia managing director Stefano Clini (pic) said the company has fully complied with the government’s directive to suspend production operations since the full movement control order commenced in June.

KUALA LUMPUR: Carlsberg Malaysia has fully sponsored the vaccinations against the Covid-19 for 600 employees and third-party vendors as it seeks to have 100% of its on-sitework force fully vaccinated by the end of July or early August.

In a statement yesterday, the brewer said it wanted to provide a safe workplace in preparation for reopening when permitted and also heeding the call of herd immunity as a viable step towards national economic recovery.
