Bank Negara, Bank of Thailand launch cross-border QR payment linkage

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia and the Bank of Thailand (BOT) had on Friday launched a cross-border QR payment linkage between both countries.

In a statement on Friday, Bank Negara said under this linkage, consumers and merchants in both countries will be able to make and receive instant cross-border QR code payments.
