Managing director Tung Eng Hai (pic) also revealed that Southern Cable was in the process of expanding its production capacity to support its growth by building a new production facility adjacent to its existing facility in Kuala Ketil, Kedah.

KUALA LUMPUR: Cable and wire manufacturer Southern Cable Group Bhd has reaffirmed its aim for a transfer to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd by the fourth quarter of 2021.

In a statement, the company said it secured shareholders’ approval for the proposed amendments to the company’s constitution yesterday, paving the way for the transfer of its listing status subject to approvals from the Securities Commission and Bursa Securities.
