Maybank continues repayment aid for customers affected by MCO


Maybank group president & CEO Datuk Abdul Farid Alias said the bank understands that customers impacted by the pandemic and current movement restriction will face challenges in meeting their repayment obligations.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) will continue to assist and support its customers affected by the Movement Control Order (MCO) and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a statement on Tuesday, Maybank said this was in the form of repayment assistance (RA) packages made available since last year, including loan repayment deferment (moratorium) or reduction in monthly instalment payment.
