Only fully virtual AGMs during total lockdown

KUALA LUMPUR: Capital market participants (CMP) must conduct their general meetings online during the total lockdown period and are prohibited from conducting any physical meetings or gatherings, said the Securities Commission in its latest update.

The regulator said in a statement issued on Monday that only full virtual meetings are allowed where all meeting participants, including the chairperson of the meeting, board members, senior management and shareholders must meet online.
