AmBank posts core net profit of RM961.6m in FY21


AmBank Group chief executive officer Datuk Sulaiman Mohd Tahir, said: “FY21 has been a challenging year for AmBank. We were able to record solid income growth of 7.7% to RM4.55bil and PBP growth of 14.2% to RM2.42bil, reflecting the strength of our diverse franchise and our effective cost management strategy. "

KUALA LUMPUR: AMMB Holdings Bhd (AmBank Group) recorded core profit after tax and minority interest (PATMI) of RM961.60mil in the financial year ended March 31,2021.

In a statement on Monday, the group said the PATMI was after adjusting for one-off exceptional items of RM4.76bil and related legal and professional expenses.
