TH Heavy appoints Abd Aziz as new chairman 


KUALA LUMPUR: TH Heavy Engineering Bhd has appointed politician Datuk Abd Aziz Sheikh Fadzir as its new chairman effective May 25.

The 58-year old former member of parliament for Kulim-Bandar Baru is a board member at Safeguard Corp Bhd.

Abd Aziz replaced Ir Abdul Manap Ali Hasan who was redesignated as the company's independent and non executive director.

Last week, Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has granted PN17 affected issuer TH Heavy an extension of time of six months up to Oct 22 to submit a regularisation plan.
