Sharil retires today, Annuar Taib assumes CEO post


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- Tan Sri Shahril Shamsuddin is retiring from Sapura Energy Bhd today as its president and group chief executive officer (CEO), and will be succeeded by Datuk Mohd Anuar Taib, who takes over the helm beginning March 23, 2021.

Mohd Anuar, who joined Sapura Energy as an independent director in August 2020, was appointed chief operating officer and CEO-designate in October 2020.
