KUALA LUMPUR: The services producer price index (SPPI) had increased 0.5 per cent to 110.1 in the fourth quarter of 2020 (Q4 2020) from 109.6 posted in Q4 2019, said the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DoSM).
Chief statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin said the main sub-sectors that contributed to the increase were accommodation and food and beverage service activities (1.5 per cent), real estate activities (1.5 per cent), health (1.3 per cent), transportation (0.9 per cent), and education (0.6 per cent).
