Bintai Kinden said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia the partnership with the security services company was to ensure the vaccines are secure and protected during the distribution of the vaccines.
The agreement will enable the parties to negotiate the terms and conditions wherein SRT shall procure the Greenie Cold Chain Box from Bintai Healthcare.
“The Greenie Cold Chain Box is to be used in logistics of medical goods. The product is designed for the exclusive use in transporting and storing medical products at very low temperatures. It keeps the inbox temperature at negative 70 degrees Celsius (-70℃) for up to 120 hours,” said Bintai Kinden managing director Ong Choon Lui.
The Greenie Medi Cold Chain Box, which is tested to meet ISTA 7D/7E requirements, is designed specifically to enable proper storage and distribution of vaccines, including the vaccine.
The MoU is effective from the date of the MoU and shall remain valid until termination by either party.
"The MOU will not have any effect on the issued and paid up shares capital of BKCB but the proposal, if materialize in the future, is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings of BKCB Group," said the group.
