KUALA LUMPUR: Public Bank and Tenaga Nasional underpinned Bursa Malaysia’s strong start for the week on Monday, tracking the firmer key Asian markets, as progress on the Covid-19 vaccine boosted sentiment.
At 9.21am, the FBM KLCI was up 10.52 points or 0.62% to 1,695.10. Turnover was 1.38 billion shares valued at RM801.60mil. There were 447 gainers, 412 losers and 378 counters unchanged.
