MSM Malaysia group CEO given 7 days to explain irregularities

The sugar refinery said the group CEO has been placed on leave of absence until further notice from the board.

KUALA LUMPUR: MSM Malaysia Holdings Bhd’s group chief executive officer (CEO) has been given seven days to explain certain irregularities relating to inventories of MSM Sugar Refinery (Johor) Sdn Bhd.

In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday, the sugar refinery said the group CEO has been placed on leave of absence until further notice from the board.
