KUALA LUMPUR: Malakoff Corporation Bhd
reported its net profit in the second quarter ended June 30 had jumped by 101% to RM104.95mil, boosted by increased earnings from Tanjung Bin Energy Sdn Bhd (TBE) and contribution from Alam Flora Sdn Bhd.
The independent power producer reported on Tuesday the net profit had doubled from RM52.25mil a year ago as the group’s share of profit from investments in associates rose by more than five-fold to RM50.50mil from RM9.70mil a year ago.
