TM appoints Imri as new MD and group CEO


TM said Imri Mokhtar would succeed former MD/GCEO Datuk Noor Kamarul Anuar Nuruddin who had resigned.

KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) has announced the appointment of Imri Mokhtar as its new managing director (MD)/group chief executive officer (GCEO) effective Aug 1.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, TM said Imri would succeed former MD/GCEO Datuk Noor Kamarul Anuar Nuruddin who had resigned.

Imri, 47, has over 24 years of experience in telecommunications and strategy. His last position was as chief operations officer (COO) at Celcom Axiata Bhd since May 1,2020, where he was responsible for driving operational excellence throughout the organisation.His last held position in TM was also as COO where he was responsible for the business operations of unifi, TM ONE and TM Global.
