KUALA LUMPUR: Citi Malaysia chief executive officer Lee Lung Nien will take on a bigger role in the banking group with his new appointment as chairman, South Asia of Citi private bank (CPB), effective Sept 1.

Lee will be based in Singapore and will report to Steven Lo, Asia Pacific regional head of Citi private bank and Amol Gupte, Asean head and Citi country officer for Singapore.
