PETALING JAYA: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd’s proposed acquisition of a fabrication yard at Teluk Ramunia in Johor for RM320mil is seen as fair and would enable it to expand vertically into the upstream segment of the oil and gas sector.
However, analysts are “cautiously optimistic” on the deal given competition from several listed fabricators and offshore maintenance players. The oil and gas services group is also seen as stretching itself thin on the back of its recent expansion drive.
