PETALING JAYA: Damansara Realty Bhd (DBhd) has appointed Azman Tambi Chik as its new group chief executive officer, effective May 11.
In a statement, DBhd said Azman, 56, would be responsible to drive and execute strategic initiatives as well as helm the overall management of the group’s various business segments, which include property and land development, integrated facilities management as well as project management and consultancy services.
Azman has held various leadership positons, including as general manager of corporate services at QSR Brands (M) Holdings Sdn Bhd (2016-2017) and general manager (strategic communications) at Johor Corp (2014-2016).
DBhd executive vice chairman Abdullah Md Yusof said the new GCEO appointment would strengthen the execution of its strategic initiatives planned as the group navigated and adapted to new norms and industry challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
DBhd’s shares rose one sen to close at 42.5 sen yesterday.
