KUALA LUMPUR: Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Bhd said it has received a delisting notice dated Jan 17 from the Bursa Malaysia Securities.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the company said the stock will be removed from the official list of Bursa Securities on Wednesday, Jan 22.
The delisting order came after the stock exchange operator dismissed the company’s appeal for a six-month extension on June 30 to submit a new regularisation plan.
Upon the delisting, the company will continue to exist but as an unlisted entity.
“The company is still able to continue its operations and businesses and proceed with its corporate restructuring and its shareholders can still be rewarded by the company’s performance, ” it said. “However, the shareholders will be holding shares which are no longer quoted and traded on Bursa Securities.”
