Slow start for Bursa as Petronas stocks, Tenaga weigh


At Bursa last week, foreign funds were net sellers, totaling RM367.1mil while local institutions were net buyers at RM299.8mil and retail investors at RM67.3mil.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia started Monday on a cautious note weighed down by Petronas-linked stocks and Tenaga Nasional despite fresh optimism among key Asian markets over the US-China trade deal.

At 9.23am, the FBM KLCI was down 1.53 points or 0.1% to 1,569.63. Turnover was 340.08 million shares valued at RM218.34mil. There were 194 gainers, 184 losers and 261 counters unchanged.
