PKT Logistics to develop RM200mil depot


According to PKT Logistics chairman Datuk Wira Jalilah Baba(pic), the development of ICD will be done in three phases and is expected to be completed by 2022.

PUTRAJAYA: PKT Logistics Group Sdn Bhd, a total logistics service provider, has joined hands with the Finance Ministry to develop a RM200mil truck and inland clearance depot (ICD) at the Kota Perdana Special Border Economic Zone (SBEZ).

The depot, which will primarily focus on Southern Thailand-based exporters, seeks to facilitate cross-border shipments to mainly Penang Port as well as other Malaysian ports.
