KUALA LUMPUR: Property developer Mah Sing Group Bhd (Mah Sing) has teamed up with financial comparison website RinggitPlus.com to offer 'Madam Loan', the first of its kind artificial intelligence-enabled chatbot to facilitate home loan applications.

Director, group strategy and operations Rachel Leong said Madam Loan is aimed at further enhancing customer service by personalising interactions and reducing the first response time to just a few seconds.

"This helps customers interact with us in new, more efficient and scalable ways," she said at the launch of the chatbot here today.

She said potential home buyers can now get answers on home loan related questions and apply for home loans any time of the day via Madam Loan on www.madamloan.com.my, which will go live for three months beginning today until Nov 30.

She added that Madam Loan is catered mainly to first-time home buyers, deal seekers and financially constrained buyers.

RinggitPlus chief executive officer Liew Ooi Hann said Madam Loan also offered value-added services to potential home buyers such as the automated application process to multiple banks, the home loan eligibility calculator, government financing scheme recommendations and even property recommendation from various projects under Mah Sing.

"Currently, we are offering home loans from four banks but we are working on to add more to the offering," he said.

He said Mah Sing collaboration with RinggitPlus is hoped to encourage other property developers to utilise digitalisation.

"We hope that more companies will take the opportunity to innovate their offerings because we highly believe that digitalisation is the next revolution that will shape future businesses in the time to come," he added. - Bernama
