Tax man: CP39 statement submission via online only from Sept 1

Employers will have to go online to submit the Form CP39 or statement of monthly tax deduction (MTD) to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) with effect from Sept 1.

KUALA LUMPUR: Employers will have to go online to submit the Form CP39 or statement of monthly tax deduction (MTD) to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) with effect from Sept 1.

IRBM said on Monday this was in line with the government’s effort to increase the usage of online payment (e-payment).
