HSS targets water jobs in Sabah and Sarawak


HSS executive vice-chairman Tan Sri Kuna Sittampalam said the group expects other states – including Penang, Johor, Negri Sembilan, Melaka and Selangor – to follow suit to address the water shortage.

Petaling jaya: Engineering and project management consultant HSS Engineers Bhd’s subsidiary, SMHB Engineering, is bidding for water infrastructure projects in Sabah and Sarawak to address the water shortage issue and targets to boost its order book to more than RM500mil.

Given the water shortage issue in Sabah and Sarawak, the state governments have announced plans which include the Sarawak Water Grid Project that will improve water supply services, especially in rural areas.
