MSPO-certified palm oil for Japan

JASIN: Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO)-certified palm oil produced is capable of penetrating the Japanese market, especially in view of the upcoming 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, according to Deputy Primary Industries Minister Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin.

Japan, being a developed country that prioritises sustainability in various aspects of life, recognises the certification, in addition to being a major trading partner of Malaysia, according to him. — Bernama
