Scomi Group Bhd surprised investors when it proposed to revise its current issued share capital reduction from RM224.96mil to RM3mil from the earlier RM40mil.
PETALING JAYA: Construction firm Vertice Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary has won a RM100mil job related to the construction of the light rail transit 3 (LRT3) project.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Vertice said its unit Vertice Construction Sdn Bhd had accepted a sub-contract offer from Reaplite Industry Sdn Bhd, which is the main contractor for the LRT3 precast viaduct (u-trough firder).
The works to be carried out under the sub-contract job would comprise the supply of workers, materials, tools, equipment and machinery.
“The construction period shall be for about 24 months commencing March 6, 2019 to March 5, 2021.
“The sub-contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net tangible assets for the period of the sub-contract,” the company said.
