Ahmad Zaki units bag RM150.5mil contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd has bagged a RM150,5mil contract from Rantau Properties Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia Tuesday, Ahmad Zaki said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd had on Feb 20, accepted a letter of award from Rantau Properties.

It said the contract was for refurbishment and upgrading works to the existing Petronas office complex (Block A) and Kompleks Operasi Petronas 1 (Block B) and construction and completion of new annex building (Block C), infrastructure and landscaping works on part of Lot 52271 and 52272 in Kemaman, Terengganu.

“The award for the contract works amounted to a total value of RM150.5mil. The contract works shall be completed within 26 months from the date for possession of site on March 1,” Ahmad Zaki said, adding that the contract works was expected to contribute positively to the group’s future earnings.
