Malaysian palm oil futures edged up at the close of trade on Friday, but remained largely caught in a range as demand remained tepid.

KUALA LUMPUR: The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets on Thursday Feb 14.

FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures closed lower on Wednesday for a fourth consecutive session on back of weaker U.S. soyoil, reversing gains notched up earlier in the day.
