ALOR SETAR: A special entity known as KXP AirportCity Holdings Sdn Bhd has been set up to plan, coordinate and manage the development of Kulim International Airport (LTAK).
According to Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir, the state government had obtained approval from the federal government to develop the new RM1.6bil airport in the Kuala Muda district.
“With the establishment of KXP AirportCity, parties interested in developing LTAK can contact or hand in their proposals to KXP AirportCity office at Wisma PKNK, Jalan Sultan Badlishah, Alor Setar.
“KXP AirportCity will analyse and evaluate the proposals,” he told reporters after chairing the state exco meeting here yesterday. — Bernama
