PHB appoints Mahmud Fauzi as new group MD, CEO


KUALA LUMPUR: Pelaburan Hartanah Bhd appointed Datuk Mahmud Fauzi Muda as its new group managing director and CEO, effective Jan 1, 2019.

He succeeded Datuk Kamalul Arifin Othman who served out his contract until his retirement on Dec 31, 2018.

In statement issued today, PHB said Mahumud Fauzi was formerly the COO of the group and leading its operation since January 2007.

Mahmud Fauzi has close to 30 years of experience in the property industry, both in property investment and property development.

In his previous posting, he was attached to Khazanah Nasional as senior vice-president. 

He has also served as a general manager at the property division of Golden Hope Plantations Bhd (now part of Sime Darby Group) as well as general nanager at a property development company, Island & Peninsular Bhd. 

He holds B.Sc (Hons) Real Estate Management from the University of Reading, United Kingdom and received executive education at INSEAD Singapore.
