Lotte says third plant to meet demand for polypropylene

JOHOR BARU: Lotte Chemical Titan Holding Bhd hopes the completion of its third polypropylene plant (PP3) in Pasir Gudang here will meet market demand growth for polypropylene in Malaysia, Indonesia, China and the rest of the South-East Asian market.

President and CEO Lee Dong Woo said with the PP3 plant having commenced commercial operations on Sept 1, the company now has a total polypropylene production capacity of 640 kilo tonnes per annum (KTA).
