KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian palm oil futures rose more than 1 percent on Thursday evening, charting a third straight session of gains, as they tracked overnight strength in U.S. soyoil and drew support from a weaker ringgit.
The benchmark palm oil contract for December delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange was up 1.5 percent at 2,231 ringgit ($538.24) a tonne at the close of trade.
