Khalid said to have resigned as Prasarana chairman


Sources said that Khalid, 61, tendered his resignation on Monday. The former inspector-general of police was made chairman in September last year following his retirement from the police force. With his resignation, Khalid joins a growing list of high-profile resignations following Pakatan Harapan

PETALING JAYA: Prasarana Malaysia Bhd chairman Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar is said to have quit his post at the public transportation company.

Prasarana has been under the spotlight recently after Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng blamed the company’s poor management for the massive cost increase of the ongoing light rail transit line 3 (LRT3) project.
