KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara’s international reserves totalled US$109.4bil as at May 15, a decline of US$100mil from the US$109.5bil at end-April as the greenback firms up against the ringgit.
The central bank said the reserves position was sufficient to finance 7.6 months of retained imports and was 1.1 times the short-term external debt.
