Navis Capital invests in Vietnam denim supplier


Scomi Group Bhd surprised investors when it proposed to revise its current issued share capital reduction from RM224.96mil to RM3mil from the earlier RM40mil.

KUALA LUMPUR: Navis Capital Partners has invested into Saitex Holdings, a denim supplier with its manufacturing base outside of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Saitex is committed to changing the US$80bil denim industry’s business practices by embracing full transparency and environmentally sustainable manufacturing practices

Navis was advised by TAU Investment Management for commercial and industry matters while the legal advisors were Hogan Lovells & Lee.

The investment sum was not disclosed.
