DRB-Hicom shares rise on succession plan


KUALA LUMPUR: DRB-Hicom Bhd shares rose 2.6% in Friday morning trade after the conglomerate sets its succession plan in motion with the appointment of Datuk Mohammad Zainal Shaari as chairman.

The counter rose 2.63%, or six sen to RM2.34. DRBHicom-C42 gained 7.69%, or 2.5 sen to 35 sen and DRBHicom-C46 advanced 8.89%, or two sen to 24.5 sen.
