Fulle Technik files suit against FGV units for RM23.39m

KUALA LUMPUR: Fulle Technik Sdn Bhd has filed a suit against  Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd's (FGV) two subsidiaries, seeking RM23.39mil over a breach of contract involving the development of a prototype machine.

FGV said on Monday the subsidiaries are Felda Global Ventures Research & Development Sdn Bhd (FGV R&D) and Felda Agricultural Services Sdn Bhd, which are the first and second defendants.

In the suit, Fulle Techik stated FGV R&D had appointed it, via a service agreement dated Sept 30, 2014 to develop a prototype machine known as subsoil fertilizer machine.

“The plaintiff (Fulle Technik) alleges that the first defendant have, in breach of their contractual obligations, appointed a third party via an open tender to build and supply the machines.  In this regard, the plaintiff claims the claimed amount against the defendants,” it said.

FGV said the material litigation might have a material financial impact where the total amount shall include but not limited to the claimed amount plus legal fees and costs.

According to Fulle Technik's website, the Negri Sembilan company was established in June 2010 and its core activities are the manufacturing of mechanical components and fabrication of sheet metals for the automotive, oil & gas, palm oil plantation, aerospace and pharmaceuticals industries.
