EPF ups stake in YTL Power


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Country View said that the acquisition

KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has emerged as a substantial shareholder in its stake in YTL Power International Bhd.

A filing with Bursa Malaysia on Monday showed the pension fund bought 1.917 million shares in the infrastructure and power company on Feb 7.

The purchase saw its shareholding cross the 5.0% threshold to 5.009% or 397.21 million shares.
