KUALA LUMPUR: Ikhmas Jaya Group Bhd has received a letter of award from Mudajaya Corp Bhd for subcontract bored piling works for the Light Transit Rail LIne 3 from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia.
The contract, which was accepted by Ikhmas unit, Ikhmas Jaya Sdn Bhd, will undertake the bored piling works in zones two and three of the project package, for a total sum of RM38.52mil.
The duration of the project will be about one year.
"The abovementioned Project is expected to contribute positively to IKHMAS’s earnings and net assets for the financial year ending 31 December 2018," the group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
At market close, Ikhmas Jaya was trading half a sen higher at 54.5 sen a share on low trading volume.
