Pos Malaysia appoints former airline executive and technopreneur as new boss


In a separate statement, Pos Malaysia said despite challenging operating conditions, it would continue to press ahead with its initiatives to become the premier e-commerce fulfilment and logistics services provider domestically, and in time, regionally.

KUALA LUMPUR: Pos Malaysia Bhd has appointed former airline executive and technopreneur Al-Ishsal Ishak as new group chief executive officer (CEO), in a move that signals the postal services group’s ambition to become a major player in the e-commerce delivery business.

Shares in Pos Malaysia on Tuesday rebounded from its lowest level in a year.
